ABOUT
Zachary Al-Radiedeh (pronounced "al-ruh-DYE-deh") is an American euphoniumist and music educator currently residing in South Korea. His eclectic career in music began when he chose the euphonium in fifth grade, mistakenly thinking it was a French horn. Since then, he has performed a variety of idioms, from classical to punk to folk fusion. His diverse experiences have led him to a wide range of stages, including Strathmore Music Center, the 9:30 Club, and Mile High Stadium.

Zachary's teaching skills are evidenced by the success of his students who have earned sponsorships from major instrument manufacturers and won spots in several competitive honor bands and community ensembles. Outside of traditional private lessons, Zachary has built a reputation as a sought-after educator and consultant in the world of marching music. He has taken his experiences in top level ensembles, including the Troopers and Cadets2 Drum and Bugle Corps, and applied them as an engaging instructor for several ensembles, including the Towson University Marching Band, Pioneer Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Archer High School Marching Band.
Zachary is currently a member of the United States Army Bands, performing on euphonium and occasionally doubling on tuba. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Towson University and a Master of Music in Euphonium Performance from the University of Georgia, where he studied euphonium and tuba with Matthew Shipes and David Zerkel. Additionally, Zachary has studied euphonium with Seth Horner and James Hicks and trombone with Natalie Mannix. He has performed under the baton of several esteemed conductors and composers, including Jason Fettig, Johan de Meij, and Timothy Holtan.
